PULL TABS - BREAKOPENS

Pull-Tabs are similar in look to a lottery ticket except they are made from two plies of poster board which are glued together. Each ticket has three to five die-cut windows which you snap open to show the symbol sets in each window. Prizes for pull-tabs are generally smaller than lottery tickets except that pull-tab tickets have a better win ratio, i.e., one in four tickets is a winner, or one in six tickets a winner, etc. Playing pull-tabs during a bingo session can be fun and exciting, and you can win extra money -- as much as $500.00 on a single ticket. When you play pull-tabs you help the charity conducting the bingo session. If you arrive early at a bingo game you can fill in the time by playing pull- tabs. Also, you can play pull-tabs in between games while the caller verifies the bingo game. Playing pull-tabs during the intermission is fun and gives you more chances to be a winner at the bingo session.

This is the most basic of all pull-tab games. Simply match three or more of the same symbols horizontally in one of the windows and you are a winner. To determine how much money you won, simply turn the ticket over and read the payout for the symbols you matched. An example of a match-three game is the tried-and-true, NEVADA CLUB. There are many other excellent match-three games on the market - play the one you like best. Most match-three games have five windows.

MULTI-WINNERS

Some pull-tab games have tickets that have more than one winner. If you see the words MULTI-WINNERS on the bottom of the ticket be sure to open all the tabs to see if you have more than one winner.

BINGO GAMES

The object of this game is to spell B-I-N-G-O in any rotation. For example, you can spell it: O-I-N-B-G, or B-G-O-I-N, etc. This is a 5-window game. In each window of the ticket there is one letter. After you open all five windows and you spell BINGO, you are a winner. The amount of money you win is determined by the background color in each window. A Red B-I-N-G-O pays the highest amount, while the Green B-I-N-G-O pays the least.

CRISS CROSS GAME

This is a multi-winner game with a twist. Criss Cross games can either be 5-window or 3-window. The easiest way to determine whether you have a winner is that the winning combination of symbols have either a Red or Blue line or arrow connecting the three symbols. Most Criss Cross games have multi-winners. The game plays like Tic-Tac-Toe because you can win vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. The twist is that the winning symbol combination is not necessarily there-like symbols - although it could be. Another winner variation is where you have two like symbols with a different third symbol connected with Red or Blue lines or arrows.

BONUS CRISS CROSS GAMES

These games are a combination of a Criss Cross and a Match-Three game. They always have five windows. Normally, the top half of the front of the ticket is a Criss Cross and the bottom half of the ticket is a Match-Three. The Criss Cross portion, as well as the Match-Three part of the game can appear in any of the five windows. The Match-Three part of the game on the front of the ticket usually has a unique name, i.e., MAGIC LINE, etc. These games are fun to play because you have a chance to win on the Match-Three portion, even if you don't win on the Criss Cross portion. NOTE: on some games you can win on both parts.
