K-SCALE INSTRUCTIONS

K-COIN 

Full Features and Keyboard Operation Program 9701-5104C

1. TURN ON: Press rocker switch to the on position (located in the front of scale).

2. SELECT COINS: Press "UP ARROW" key to count larger denominations.  Press the "DOWN ARROW" key to count smaller denominations.

3. WEIGHING: Press "SIDE ARROW" key to weigh in pounds.  Press the "SIDE ARROW" key again and the date and time will display.  If t he date and time had not previously been entered or required.  Press the "SIDE ARROW" key again to exit.

4. ZERO: Press the "ZERO" key to zero the scale and take out a scoop or container.

5. MEMORY ACCUMULATOR AND TOTALS:  Press the "+" key to add coins on scale to memory.  Press the "-" key to minus coins on scale to memory.  Press any "NUMERIC" key followed by a "+" or "-" key to make a numeric entry and add to scale memory.  Press the "CE" key to clear numeric entry errors.  Press the "CLEAR" key to clear memory.  Press the "CLEAR" key the second time (if you have a printer) before any other value are added to memory and the Grand Total Memory will be cleared.

6. PROMPTS:  The following prompts may be required if a printer is installed:  Time and date, operator number, location number, machine number, and meter numbers.

7. DISPLAYED RUNNING TOTALS PER DENOMINATION:  Press the "#" key once and the Total per the selected denomination will display " T $ ".  Press the "#" key the second time and the Gran Total per selected denomination will display " GT $ ".  To exit, press the "UP Arrow" or the "DOWN ARROW".
