COMPLETELY CUSTOM CHIPS
With Text on Rolling Edges
Using a different process
from the Top Hat & Cane design we also offer chips that can be customized in
much the same way as the Top Hat & Cane Chips, with the added advantage of
offering the additional opportunity to place text or graphics around the
"rolling" edge of the chip. We call this edge the
"rolling" edge as it is the edge that the chip would roll across a
counter top, similar to how a coin would behave. Please have a look at a
sample of what we mean by this "rolling" edge:
On the chip pictured above there are no "edge spots" shown, but to the right of the pictured chip you will see what is printed on the "rolling" edge of this chip. The available space is up to 44 spaces of text or characters. There is also a selection of rolling edge designs that are available, these are pictured HERE
This style of chip can also be
built with an "edge spot" similar but not exactly as what is shown in
the Top Hat & Cane designs. An example of this style of chip with an
"edge spot" design is like this chip shown below.
Here you will see the edge spots on the face of the chip and the edge spots and
text both on the "rolling" edge of the chip. This makes for a
very attractive chip design with plenty of room for the imagination. There
is only one slight problem with this concept. Due to the process of
manufacturing there is no guarantee that the edge spots on the face of the chip
will align with the edge spots on the "rolling" edge of this
chip. If this fact bothers you then it can be solved of course by
having the edge spots on only one part of the chip, maybe the edge but not the
face of the chip, or the opposite way around.
These chips are full casino weight and feel with a very nice linen style finish on the face of the chips. The graphic capabilities of these chips is again only limited by your imagination. To view some additional samples of these chips please click HERE
One of the many benefits of these chips is that they can usually be produced in less than 4 weeks. However as always when speed is a factor, cost usually is not far behind. These chips are available in a fully customized format with the following price structure and minimums.
Minimum Order: (full custom chip not stock chips as shown above) 500 Chips (total order)
Art & Mechanical Charges:
$160.00 per design if both sides the same design. If both sides different
then $320.00 per design. If you only want to put the same design on
both sides but you want a denomination change ( $1.00 on 200 chips then $5.00 on
150 chips) then the charge for denomination change would be an additional $65.00
per denomination change. Actual chips are $79.00 per 100 chips, not
including Art & Mechanical charges or Denomination or Color changes.
Shipping Charges: These chips are usually shipped either UPS or Airborne Express and normal shipping charges apply. However to prevent damage to these chips they are shipped in their own plastic chip racks with each rack holding 100 chips. The shipping racks are billed at $1.25 per 100 chips, with 1 additional rack billed per each 500 chips purchased to "cap" the shipping stack.
